Stubborn is not a negative word, you are wise and you know what you want.
The connotation or connection that you give it is a know-it-all, an egocentric person. But these two words can also be interpreted as valuable.
As long as you split the words apart and put them as two words next to each other. Bet and know, ego and central, own and wise. A wise person considers, searches in the arsenal of experiences, weighs and balances, takes time to answer.
It is someone who can stare and sink into thoughts, not as a daydreamer but as a collector of thoughts that are ordered and where logic is added to feed the whole as if it were a delicious casserole with mixed ingredients that fit together perfectly with a recognizable flavor pattern.
A sentence to chew over, huh?
