As a human being you are absorbed. Whatever you do and wherever you are, you are absorbed and become part of the staging. As a result, you lose a part of yourself and take on the energy of the environment. Take a concert for example, you listen to the music, the audience reacts and you join in.
Take a family gathering, you adapt and behave as expected. Even in a situation with 2, you do this. In other words, you are never yourself when you are with other people. If you realize this, then you are a spectator of your own behavior. But you will not like to see or experience certain things. Shame and aversion can overwhelm you. Realize that you are only human.
